摘要 语音对数脉冲编码调制 (PCM)在数字电话通信等大型通用数字传输设备中已得到广泛应用。文中将其引入小型专用语音数字化传输设备中 ,设计并实现了以TMS32 0VC5 40 2为核心的语音压缩系统。该系统主要由PCM线性编码器、数字信号处理器 (DSP)、现场可编程门阵列 (FPGA)、高速静态RAM及Flash存储器等构成 ,可完成 6 4kbit/s的A律对数PCM的压扩。介绍了对数PCM原理 ,并给出了系统硬件连接及主要程序流程。 Logarithmic pulse code modulation of speech has been used widely in many digital transmission facilities, such as digital telephone network. In this paper, this method is adopted to one small special speech digital transmission facility. A speech compression system based on a TMS320VC5402 chip is designed. This system is composed of PCM linear encoder, DSP, FPGA, high speed static RAM and Flash. It can realize the compression of speech using A-law logarithmic pulse code modulation. Logarithmic pulse code modulation is introduced in this paper. The hardware composition and software flow chart of this system are presented in detail.
