Based on the government's recommendation of constructing ecological demonstration area, Jiexi county made use of this opportunity to develop the ecological village and town construction. Right after the analysis of Jiexi village and town construction background and present situation, this paper discussed the advantages and disadvantages in constructing the ecological village and town, and then elaborated on the goal and stage of constructing the ecological village and town. In all, it was feasible to carry out the ecological village and town construction in Jiexi County.
