Strategy and Countermeasures of the Regional Cooperation with the Surrounding Countries of China

21世纪是中华民族全面振兴的关键时期,良好的周边环境对于维护国家安全、促进经济发展、保持边疆地区稳定具有十分重要的现实意义。我国周边国际政治、经济环境十分复杂。改革开放的20多年里,我国与周边国家的关系得到了极大改善,经济合作不断发展。但亚太地区安全格局还处于调整时期,特别是美国的介入导致中国周边事态日趋复杂化。

The 21st Century is the key period for Chinese people to revive, so a good surrounding environment is of great meaning for the state security protection, the promotion of economic development and the stabilization of border area. The surrounding politic and e-conomic environment of China is quite complicated. During the two decades since the Reform and Openning up to the outside world, China has made great progress in improving the relationship with the surrounding countries and the economic cooperation. But we should notice that the security pattern in Asia - Pacific area is now at the period of adjustment, especially the involvement of U. S. A. has made the surrounding situation of China more complicated.
