Attaching Importance to Developing Regional Central Cities is the Best Way of Urbanization in Guizhou

贵州省属于西部边陲欠发达省份,在城市化的战略选择上,不应急于追求地区间的平衡,而应将有限的资金、技术等生产要素投向有最优经济效益的区域———中心城市,以带动全省的发展,形成较完整的城市化体系。

As an underdeveloped province in China's western border area, Guizhou should not jump at interregional balance in choosing urbanization strategy, but invest limited factors of production like funds and technology in regional central cities with optimal economic benefit, so as to drive development of the whole province and form fairly complete system of urbanization.
