论计算机辅助外语教学与传统外语教学

ON THE CHARACTERISTIC OF CAT AND THE RELATIONSHIPWITH COLLEGE FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

利用计算机技术进行计算机辅助外语教学手段的变革,已经成为高校外语教学的一大特点,多媒体计算机辅助外语教学有其特点和优势,它同传统外语教学的关系值得探讨。在教学实践中,将计算机辅助外语教学同传统的外语教学手段有机结合起来,能达到更好的教学效果。

This paper first analyzes the features and advantages of multi-media computer-assisted foreign language teaching, then discusses on the relationship between multi-media computer-assisted foreign language teaching and traditional foreign language teaching. The last section of this paper concludes that modern foreign language teaching is characterized by student- and learning-centered, language use-focused and all-rounder-oriented education including the development of intercultural communication competence and a flexible and perspective mind.
