模糊手法与等值翻译

Ambiguous means to translation equivalence

东西方文化的不同以及英汉语言表达的差距势必造成英汉翻译上的困难。但语言传译贵在等值传神而不应该受制于原文语言表达方式。文章拟探讨英汉翻译实践中运用正反、虚实、顺逆、直曲、增减、揉合等模糊翻译手法以实现跨文化语言内容的等值传递的可能性。

The differences in the Eastern and Western cultures and in the language expressions of Chinese and English will eventually give rise to the barriers in the translation between the two languages. However, it is the faithfulness to the original text that counts in translation, which is not to be fettered by the SL linguistic forms. The present article is to discuss the possibility in cross-cultural linguistic translation equivalence by means of the conversions between positiveness and negativeness, implicitness and explicitness, natural-order and inverted-order, straightforwardness and detour, augmentation and deletion, and the combination of elements into one.
