摘要
运用叙事学理论,从文本整体出发,分析了《麦田里的守望者》的主人公霍尔顿形象的特征:徘徊于成人与儿童之间,成熟与幼稚交织,各个方面都无法确定自身,现实自我与理想自我的巨大分离。这一形象集中体现了青少年成长过程中的种种矛盾。通过对这一形象塑造过程的文本分析,推导出隐含作者的意图:展现青春期成长过程中的矛盾、迷茫和彷徨,让更多正在青春沼泽地跋涉的迷茫者意识到这种状况是成长的必然。因此,总体而言,它是一部客观展现青少年艰难成长历程的成长小说。
By the way of using the theory of narration and in the light of the integrated edition, this paper analyzes the futures of the image of the antagonist, Holden, of the novel, 'The Watcher in the Rye': Wondering between the adult and the child, interweaving the mature and naivety, the great separation in every aspect between uncertain self-realization of own ideal and idealized oneself, the image of which concentratively embodies the contradiction in juvenile development. And by the way of textual analyzing the process of carving the image, the paper induces the intention of the implicit author, that is to say, the intention to display the contradiction, perplexity and hesitation during the course of the juvenile growth in order to make the perplexed youngsters who are strolling in the swamps realize the inevitability of the situation. Hence, on the whole, the novel is an objective display of the arduous course of the development of the juveniles .
