A Comparison of Images of God between Chinese Mythologies and Greek Mythologies

中国与希腊神话传说在神的形象的塑造上存在许多异同之处。为民除害的英雄是他们共同歌颂的对象;希腊神在外形上是"神人合一"的,男神的地位高不可攀;而中国神则更多的是"神兽合一"的,女神往往占据着主导地位。这里从东西方神话传说入手,着重对中国与希腊神话中神的形象的塑造作一简单的比较,以期对人类神话传说发生发展过程中的规律性问题作更深的探讨。

There are many similarities and differences between Chinese mythologies and Greek mythologies. They both take heroes as their praising objects. However, the Greek god is the combination of god and human body, with male gods occupying the top position; the Chinese god is the combination of god and animal, with female gods occupying the top position. This article starts with both eastern and western mythologies, focuses on a simple comparison of the image of god between Chinese and Greek mythologies so as to make a further research into the law of development of human mythologies.
