In the recent years, some economic rings are arising in the eastern, western and central China where economic development is unbalanced. That is a strategic measure in coping with the growing international competitiveness. This paper discusses the conception of the 'Pan-Pearl River Delta Area' which aims at promoting its international competitiveness.
