Sustainable development of competitive sports in Wuhan Institute of P.E.

"立足湖北、为湖北服务;面向全国、为全国服务"是武汉体育学院竞技体育发展指导思想。必须以奥运、全运为我院最高层次的竞技体育发展战略,形成全院一盘棋,继续引导调整各运动项目布局,结合学院特色,走精兵之路。加强教练员队伍建设,提高综合素质水平。实行举院体制、院内一条龙的学、训、科一体化的管理体制。加强后备人才建设、提升竞技体育运动水平。

The guiding ideology of competitive sports of Wuhan Institute of P.E. is to base itself upon Hubei Province and serve for Hubei Province,keep in view of China and serve for China.The developing strategy for competitive sports of Wuhan Institute of P.E. should certer around the Olympic Games and National Games.Distribution of the items should be readjusted as to find out the way highlighting the special features of the school.Teachers and coaches should have more chances to continue further study in order to be better trained.Learning,training and scientific (researches) should be combined and reserve forces should be strengthened so as to promote the level of competition.
