武术竞赛是推动武术运动发展的重要方面。竞技武术因得益于完备的竞赛体制,在国内外发展中取得了显著成绩;传统武术竞赛体系的形成,为传统武术拓展了应有的空间。套路与散手竞赛的分离是武术适应奥林匹克竞技规范的必然结果;在文化全球化浪潮中,武术的奥运发展战略是正确的选择;传统武术和竞技武术要改变对峙,协调发展,走向共赢。展望未来,套路与散手竞赛的分轨有望得到解决,竞技武术融入奥运是时代发展的必然,传统武术将成为武术后奥运发展的趋势。

Wushu competition is an important element pushing Wushu forward. Competitive Wushu benefits from perfect competition system and make great achievements. The traditional Wushu competition system has given more space to the traditional Wushu. The separation of (routines) from Sanshou competition is the necessary outcome that Wushu must meet the competition standards of the Olympics. In the tide of cultural globalization,the strategy of making Wushu one of the Olympic items is a correct choice. Traditional Wushu and competitive Wushu should develop coordinately. Traditional Wushu will be further developed after the Beijing Olympic Games.
