国家构建中的族群身份转换——以保安族为例

The Change of Ethnic Identity in Nation Building

将以保安族为例 ,尝试探讨国家建构过程中人们的身份意识发生的变化 ,并认为民族(minzu)是中国特有的介于传统族群与现代国民身份之间的本土概念。“民族”(nation)不是本土概念 ,人们在中华人民共和国建立以前并不具备民族身份 (neithernationalitynorminzu)。这种身份在国家的现代化进程中逐渐深入社会 。

During the building of the People's Republic of China, the ethnic groups in traditional Chinese society have been recognized as various Minzu: the Han and 55 demographic minorities. This paper analyzes the change of ethnic identity and self-consciousness of Bao'an people in such process, and it argues that 'nation' is not a native concept while 'Minzu' is a native concept between traditional ethnic identity and modern citizenship.
