摘要
《左传》好预言 ,预言者多为巫卜和史官以及统治集团内部的高级成员。预言分两大类 :直觉的经验的预言主要是根据人物的外貌、语言、行为来判定吉凶祸福 ;技术的知识的预言主要是借助专门的工具 ,运用特殊的方法和手段 ,包括卜筮、梦占、星占等来推测兴衰成败。预言在《左传》中最明显的功用是安排情节结构、构筑悬念以及政治伦理的训诫诱导。
Predictions are frequently made use of in Zuo Zhuan. Predictors are always wizards, officials, and high-ranking officials of the ruling class. Prophesies can be classified into two main categories: a. intuitive and experiential prophesy, in which people are predicted good-luck or ill-luck in line with their appearance, diction and behavior; b. technical and intellectual prophesy, in which success and failure are predicted by means of specific tool or methods, such as astrology. In Zuo Zhuan, the major function of prophesy is to arrange plots, make suspense and advices on politics and ethic. In this way, the mode of prophetic narration in Zuo Zhuan exerts a profound and lasting influence on later historic narration and fictitious narration.
