清末民初研究中国国民性问题的新国民思潮,随着时代的发展而大体分为三个层次。第一层次:以梁启超的新民说与严复的三民说为代表,注重提高国民的整体素质。第二层次:以孙中山的国民心理建设为主。第三层次:以新文化运动先锋解放国民主体意识为主。

At the end of Qing dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Chinese scholars, explored the issue of national diathesis which 1eaded to the New-style Citizen?thought--a new thoughts in the ideo1ogical sphere .The New-style Citizenthoughts was in purpose of saving, establishing and constructing a new nation.
