To abolish imperialistic privileges in China was the main reason why New China took over the real estate of America's military camp in Beijing.The disparity in dealing with China's relations with the Soviet Union and the United States strengthened the basic attitude toward the settlement of the issue.The incident was an important step in eliminating the imperialistic privileges in China.New China's action of taking back her sovereignty was just,so it gained the Chinese people's support. But there were some experiences and lessons which we should sum up.
