《老残游记》非谴责小说论

Travels of Lao Tsan :Nota Condemnation Novel

自鲁迅将《老残游记》纳入谴责小说后,便经代代承传,如今已成常识。本文论证,鲁迅在具体的论述中其实并不能按自己的一般论式将谴责小说概念推广到《老残游记》,反而对之作了与贬义性的谴责小说概念相反的赞誉性肯定,落入自相矛盾。这是因为《老残游记》并不是鲁迅所定义的那种谴责小说。

It a is accepted by one after one generation since Lu Xun defined Travels of Lao Tsan as condemnation novel. Now it is already common sense that Travels of Lao Tsan is a condemnation novel. The condemnation novel is a derogatory term. This paper demonstrates that Lu Xun couldnt apply his concept of condemnation novel to Travels of Lao Tsan. On the contrary, he gave commendatory words on the novel which is opposite to the concept of condemnation novel and self-contradictory. The reason lies in the fact that Travels of Lao Tsan is not a typical condemnation novel as Lu xun defined.
