发挥《法律基础》课程思想品德教育功能的思考

On the Role of Law Foundation in Ideology and Morality Education

高校的《法律基础》课程是一门对大学生进行思想品德教育的课程。这门课程的主要任务并不是单纯地向大学生传授法律基础知识,而是要充分发挥这门课程的思想品德教育功能,综合运用法学理论和相关的法律知识,对大学生进行社会主义法制教育,增强大学生的法律意识,提高法律素质。发挥《法律基础》课程思想品德教育功能的最终目标,是帮助大学生增强法律意识,将国家关于树立社会主义法制观念方面的基本要求,内化为大学生的法律意识和自觉遵纪守法的精神力量,并将这种法律意识和精神力量外化为法律行为,从而实现法律意识和法律行为实践的统一,提高大学生的法律素质。教师在《法律基础》课程教学的过程中,应重视教学方法的研究和探索,以便提高这门课程发挥思想品德教育功能的实效性。

The course law foundation intends to educate students in ideology and morality. The main task is not only to teach students knowledge on laws but also play the role of ideology and morality education. The theories of jurisprudence and the knowledge of laws should be used to carry out socialist legal education on students,so that the students' awareness of laws can be enhanced and the quality of students in law can be improved. In order to achieve these aims, the students' awareness of law must be combined with practical actions. Therefore, the teachers should attach more attention to the study and research of teaching methods in teaching law foundation, so that the role of this course in ideology and morality education can be brought into play.
