摘要
Chemical element abundances are estimated with respect to the Earth as a whole and it's major shells, i.e., the crust, upper and lower mantle and the core, according to present geophysical, geochemical, cosmochemieal data and. the new chemical models of the Earth. Results in' grams per ton are given in Table 1. Abundances of the major elements in the entire Earth are as follows (in weight percentage) : Fe32.49,O 29.06, Mg 16.23, Si 13.39, S 3.79, Ni 1,63, Ca 0.92, A10.91, Na 0.49, Cr 0.15, Mn 0.12,P 0.10. Ti 0.084. K 0.083: total 99.45.
