摘要
On account of the natural distribution of the mineral grains in the specimen under preparation, a new emission-spectrographic method has been developed on the basis of the principles of the permutations and combination of mineral grains, which are deduced from theoretical calculation and experimental tests. This method has been proved valid and applicable to the investigation of .the mode of occurrence of rare elements and to the quantitative determination of minerals as well as to the performance of statistics of their grain -size distribution in geologic samples.
