A DISCUSSION ON THE GEOCHRONOLOGY OF NANLING GRANITES

Age division of Nanling granites are discussed in relation to geological,stratigraphical,age and other data,The author believes that in Nanling region there exist granites of Xuefeng,Caledonian,Hercynian,Indosinian and Yenshanian ages.Five intrusive stages can be reeognized within the Yenshanian period.The granite belts of Qitianling-Jiufeng and Dadongshan-Guidong,whose ages have been in lively debate for a long time,can be considered as composite belts consisting of multistage emplacement.
