近年来,一些科学工作者对陨石中宇宙成因放射性核素A^26进行了较广泛的研究,为进一步深入了解陨石体在宇宙空间的暴露历史和陨石运行轨道等问题,提供了重要的科学依据。
Cosmogenic radionuclide Al^(26) has been measured in the Kirin meteorite by non-destructive gamma-ray spectrometry and gamma-gamma coincidence spectrometry. Inthe light of the specific activity of cosmogenic radionuclide Al^(26), its 'orbital tffect'has been discussed, considering the modulation of galactic cosmic-ray intensity alongthe meteorite orbit due to solar magnetic activity. Through the comparison of themeasured value of Al^(26) specific activity with its maximum saturation value obtainedon the assumption that the meteorite orbit was always beyong the solar modulation,the aphelion of the orbit of the Kirin meteorite is estimated to be q' = 2.17±0.54(AU). It is therefore concluded that the Kirin meteorite is most likely derived fromasteroids of the Apollo family.
