14 MeV NEUTRON ACTIVATION ANALYSIS OF APOLLO-17 MARE BASALT

摘要 对于少量月球物质中一些主量元素的分析测定,14MeV中子活化分析是一种较理想的非破坏性分析方法。我们采用了低能氘离子加速器,通过T(d,n)^4He反应产生14MeV快中子,对51毫克70017-291号月样进行了氧、硅、铝、镁、铁、铁。 Basic principle, procedure and equipments are reported for activation analysis of lunar rock with 14 McV neutrons produced by a low energy deuteron ion accelerator. Concentrations of major elements in the lunar sample were measured quickly, accura-tely and non-destructively. Abundances of 0, Si and Al are 40.55 ±0.42%, 18.74 ± 0.35% and 5.32±0.18%, respectively. Moreover, comparisons are made between the lunar sample and some terrestrial rocks and Apollo-11 Type B and Apollo-17 lunar rocks.
