SEPARATION AND DETERMINATION OF TRACE AMOUNT OF REE FROM IRON ORES

摘要 The PMBP method for extracting REE from iron ores is improved by oxidizing Fe(Ⅱ) into: Fe(Ⅲ)with hydrogen peroxide, by adding large amount of sulfosalicyli-acid to get complex compound, and by sheltering the dominating iron. RE2O3 of 5 μg ean be extract quantitatively from 100 mg iron. Combined with colorimetric method of Arsena-20Ⅲ, this method has been applied successfully to the separation and determination of trace amount o REE (no less than 0.005%) in iron ores with relative error of ±10%.
