摘要
In this paper a new chemical method has been developed for separating rare-earth minerals, such as rare-earth-carbonates (ambatoarinite),rare-earth-fluorine-carbonates (bastnaesite, par/site, cehaite, huanchite, cordylite, etc.), monazite, rare-earth-niobotitanates(eschynite, pyrochlore, fergusonite, etc.), and some dispersed rare earths isomorphically present in dolomite, mica, fluorite, riebeckite and magnetite. This method is capable of determining rare-earth minerals intergrowing with or enclosed in magnetite and light matrix (SG < 3.337). The insoluble residue is composed of free quartz and enclosed rare earths in it. Also, this method is applicable to the analysis of existing states of rare earths in monominerals, such as dolomite, fluorite, biotite, riebeckite, magnetite, etc. It can be used not only to determine the dispersion quantities of rare earths isomorphically present in these monominetals, but also to determine those rare-earth minerals intergrowing with or enclosed in them.
