摘要
Among various factors governing the formation of tungsten ore deposits, the stratigraphic condition is considered as an important one. The formation of tungsten ore deposits is stratigraphically controlled in many ways, for example, to provide ore-forming materials by every possible means;for tungsten deposits is regarded as a most important stratigraphic control over tungsten mineralization. 150 quantitative analyses show that tungsten abundances are generally high in preJurassic strata in southern Jiangxi, thus providing a favourable material basis for tungsten mineralization. In the studied area, the Yenshanian granites related to tungsten mineralization are products of remelting of the original pre-Cambrian strata. This suite of strata, together with altered part during the intrusion of granitic magma, contain more tungsten relative to the younger strata, constituting the main source of tungsten for the tungsten ore deposits related to the granite bodies. Moreover, under favourable geological conditions, tungsten may become activated and transported into ore bodies. This is also another important source of tungsten. And on the other hand, this source of tungsten may constrain, to a certain degrce, the stratigraphic position of tungsten ore deposits.
