The paper introduced sensors′classification and intelligent sensors′constitution, functions and characteristics. From the point of sensor′s development trend, it expounded intelligent design was a revolution in sensor designing idea, which has changed sensors′manufacturing and application mode and it gave a brief analysis for research and developing level of domestic sensors, the manufacturing ability and differences from international advanced level.
