兼容DOCSIS的HFC网络带宽需求机制 被引量:1

摘要 随着互联网络的应用和普及 ,使用者对于带宽的要求也越来越大 ,于是许多解决方案被提出 ,有线电视网络就是较好的解决方案。而在目前的有线电视网络标准中 ,DOCSIS是最普遍被使用的标准。虽然现有的有线电视网络有很大的带宽 ,但是 ,因为传统的带宽需求机制没有效率 ,因而造成带宽需求严重碰撞 ,使得带宽大量浪费 ,而且严重的碰撞也会产生大量的时间延迟和降低带宽输出量 ,所以有线电视网络必须提出一个能减少带宽需求碰撞 ,并且提高带宽输出量的方法。因此在有线电视网络提出了一个结合快取的带宽需求机制 。 With the growth of the Internet and the popularization of its applications, bandwidth demands from user are going more and more. We found that CATV network is a good resolving plan indeed. DOCSIS is the most popular protocol in HFC architecture at present. HFC network can provide a great deal of bandwidth nowadays. However, its bandwidth request process is inefficient and results in serious collisions. Lots of bandwidth will be wasted due to the collision and delay time as well as throughput becomes unacceptable. In order to increase throughput and reduce collisions, HFC network must provide an effective scheme to improve efficiency. We propose a novel cache based bandwidth request mechanism in HFC network. Our mechanism can not only disperse crowded bandwidth request but also solves problem of collisions.
