摘要
通过分析光纤的过氧基缺陷,用氘气对成品低水峰光纤进行处理,以降低光纤的氢敏感性。结果表明,氘气处理后光纤在1383nm的氢损值小于0.01dB/km,并且这种抗氢损能力不随时间变化而变化,从而保证了光纤长期使用过程中的稳定性。
The low water peak fiber is treated by deuterium in order to reduce the fiber's hydrogen sensitivity based on the analysis of peroxide defects in fiber. It is shown that the hydrogen-induced-loss at 1383 nm will be less than 0.01 dB/km after deuterium treatment. Such hydrogen resistance ability will not change with time so the long-term stability of fiber throughout the service lifetime can be guaranteed.
