The onnexistence of global solution in the initial—boundary value problem for the parabolic partial differential equa tion of degenerate type αu/αt=β(uΔu+α|▽u|~2 (*) is considered. In Particalar, a solution of (*) will blow—up in the finite time, and an estimate for L^p—norm that goes to infinity is given.
