Spun-bonding and melt-blowing are popular nonwovenproduction technologies. The production of composite productsby combining the two technologies (the spun-bonded/melt-blown technology) takes the advantages of both technologies.The article first introduces briefly the application of spun-bonding/melt-blowing technology and then introduces in detailsthe production process, technical features, product propertiesand applications of spun-bonded/melt-blown nonwoven fabric.It also points out the shortcomings existing in the properties ofsuch nonwoven fabric and the direction of future development.
