Heritage, Culture and Future——Reconstruction Planning of the' New Street', Guandu Ancient Town, Kunming

城市是一个活的生命体,随着时间的推移和社会的进步,在不断地进行着“新陈代谢”。在旧城和历史街区的建设发展中,保护与发展是我们需要慎重对待的问题。如何在整体保护的基础上,实施局部有机更新,并传承历史风貌,达到保护与再生,协调与共生,传统与创新的有机统一,是规划界近年讨论的课题之一。在官渡古镇新大街的规划设计中,做了一些尝试。

City, like living things, is keeping metabolizing as time goes on and with progress of society. Measures should be taken meticulously to protect and develop the ancient town in the process of modernizing city. It′s vitally important to keep the ancient town intact while planning and reconstruction it on the whole basis. Protection and regeneration, harmony and co-existence, tradition and innovation are being explored in recent years. The author made an attempt to design and plan the project-Reconstruction of the ′New Street′, Guandu ancient town.
