A new method for separation and purification of synthesis ags——methyl formate synthesis was introduced in detail. Highli pure CO and H_2can be produced by this method from low content synthesis gas or the waste gases of the chemical industry and the steel industry. And the applications of methyl formate in the storage and tran]port of synthesis gas were also discussed simply.
