A Study on the Switch of Predicative from Endocentric to Non-Endocentric Construction

本文将在《吕氏春秋》量化的语言材料的基础上,考察谓词性向心结构向非向心结构的变换。这种考察主要是共时的,个别结构也涉及到历时的考察。考察结果表明:谓词性向心结构向非向心结构的变换是不自由的。变换的实现,既取决于修饰语的构成成分、语义类别、语义指向,又取决于充当中心语的动词的语义类别、以及附加成分的有无等。通过“变换”这种动态的研究方法,将有助于古汉语句法研究的深化。

This essay makes, on the basis of the measurable linguistic material from Lü Shi Chun Qiu, a research into the switch of predicative from endocentric to non-endocentric construction. The result of the research, which is mainly synchronic but deals diachronically also with some few cases, shows that the switch of predicative from endocentric to non-endocentric construction is not free. The realization of the switch depends not only on the components, the semantic categories and the semantic signifying of the adjunct, but also on if there are or not semantic categories of verbs that acts as the central term and additional components. Using the dynamic way of research on topic such as 'switch' help to deepen the syntax research of the classical Chinese.
