On Cultural Risks in the Construction of Advanced Culture

要建设具有中国特色的先进文化,必须坚持"三个代表"重要思想在意识形态领域的指导地位,严格防范、全力化解当前面临的文化守旧、思想道德滑坡、文化垃圾泛滥、西方强势文化扩张等风险。坚持以"三个代表"重要思想统领社会主义文化建设;树立文化安全意识,选择正确的文化模式;实施文化创新战略,培育和弘扬民族文化;构建适应经济发展需要的价值体系;坚定科学信仰,倡导主流文化;构筑抵御文化垃圾侵蚀的牢固防线。

To construct the advanced culture with Chinese features, we must keep in ideology the leading position of the essence of the 'Three Representatives', carefully defend and deal with the fogyism in culture currently met, the decline in thought and morality, the widespread of cultural garbage, and the tough expansion of western cultures. Meanwhile we should also stick to the essence of the 'Three Representatives' in our socialist cultural construction, build up a sense of cultural security, make the correct choice of the cultural mode, carry out the innovation strategy in culture, breed and carry forward the national culture, set up a suitable value system for economic development, stick to the scientific belief, spark plug the mainstream culture, and build up a strong defending line against cultural garbage.
