关于新世纪高校教师基本素质的几点思考

On Elementary Qualities of College Teachers in New Century

本文就新世纪对高校教师基本素质的要求，提出：忠诚党的教育事业是教师必备的政治思想素质；广博的基础知识和精深的专业知识是教师必备的知识素质；高超的教学艺术和突出的科研能力是教师必备的能力素质；教书育人，为人师表是教师必备的道德素质。

This paper is on the requirement of college teaehers' elementary qualities. The author suggests that, being devoted to the party's educational task is teachers' essential political quality; extensive rudimentary knowledge quality; superb instructing skill and outstanding ability of science researeh is teachers'essential abitity quality; teaching and fostering, instructing by precept and sample are teachers' essential moral quality.
