简要介绍了信息推送服务的技术和方式,以及在数字图书馆中利用手机短信平台实现提醒信息的同步推送服务。北京理工大学图书馆通过自行开发的手机短信息系统,实现了流通借阅通知的实时提醒。

The paper described briefly the information push technology and the reasons to use the short message service for sending library announcements. It introduced the development of a short message system of Beijing Institute of Technology library for sending library circulation information such as the books due and available holds.
