南德温牛改良青海黄牛试验初报

The Primary Report on the Improving Effects of South Devon on Qinghai Yellow Cattle

南德温牛是原产于英格兰德温郡南部的良种肉牛品种。2001年,根据西宁市农牧局的要求引进南德温牛细管冻精,用于改良青海黄牛。结果表明,南杂F1代个体的体形外貌、体尺、体重均得到明显的改善,取得了较好的经济效益。

South Devon is a beef breed from south area of South Devon Shire in Brifain England. In 2001, Frozen semen straws were introduced to improve Qinghai local yellow cattle. Results showed body performance, body sizes and body weight of crossbred F\-1 individuals of South Devon and Qinghai yellow cattle were greatly improved. The improvement got great economic profits.
