This paper discusses the document value of degree papers of colleges and universities graduates, analyzes the necessity of setting up full text data base of degree papers. According to the current situation of degree papers datab ase construction at home and abroad, this paper puts forward some countermeasure s of accelerating the construction of full text database of degree papers in the libraries of colleges and universities, and matters needing attention in constr uction of database.
