摘要
应用量子理论计算了Nd :YIG中Nd3 + 离子基态多重态耦合对磁矩与磁光效应的影响。计算结果显示 ,当较高能级的多重态被考虑进来后 ,离子基态的能级分布与状态波函数要发生改变 ,从而对离子磁矩与Faraday偏转产生影响 ;多重态耦合对磁矩的影响不大 ,但对Faraday偏转的影响较大 。
The influences of the coupling of ground multistate of Nd 3+ ions in Nd:YIG on the magnetization and magneto-optical effects are calculated by using quantum theory. The results show that the energy distribution and the state wave functions will be modified when the multistates of high energy are taken into account, and will affect the magnetization and Faraday rotation. Although the effect of the coupling on the magnetization is small, the influence on the Faraday rotation is great so that it can't be neglected in the calculation.
