在介绍主动网概念的基础上,重点研究了基于主动网技术的VPN多播结构。分析了传统VPN多播结构及其存在的问题,探索了一种新的主动VPN多播实现结构。新结构在密钥管理、全可靠性以及认证方法方面都比传统的结构有较大的改进。

Active network is the basis for a range of new and innovative applications that make use of computational resources inside network routers. This paper concentrates on the architecture of active VPN multicast, analyzes the architecture of VPN multicast on traditional network and its insufficiency, then a new way to realize VPN multicast using the active network is presented.The main advantages include better session key management, improved security, greater availability, anti denial of service attacks and simple authentication.
