摘要 随着科技的发展以及竞争的全球化,产品开发越来越重视产品的创意、个性化以及如何缩短产品的开发周期。本文介绍了一种基于虚拟现实和网络化协同的产品设计平台,应用虚拟现实技术建立自然的设计界面,利用专用位置输入装置产生一系列的虚拟切割动作,让网络用户实现协同设计并自由地表达设计思想,同时还可以快速试制出设计的产品。文章最后通过实验展示了本平台的可行性和有效性。 With the technology development and world-wide competition, how to achieve individuation, originalityand shorten the time to market has become more and more critical for new product development. It is introduced in this paper a novel product shape design platform based on virtual reality (VR) and networked collaboration. VR technology is used to establish a natural design interface and aspecial input device with feedback is used to record designer’s design operations. This platform allows designers to express their design ideas easily and obtain the manufactured model rapidly. A series of experiments have been conducted to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this platform.
