The Exploitation of Multi Media Expert System for the Planting Management of Chili Pepper in Guizhou

This paper focuses on the design, structure, function and implementation for the multi media expert system of the planting and management for chili pepper in Guizhou, meanwhile the knowledge’s organization and expression were described. The system (includes) three types of content such as systematic management, search and decision-making consultation. Search and decision-making consultation is the main part of the system, it includes the modules of decision-making for planting, seedling cultivation, (transplanting), field management, diagnosis and control of abnormal crops, diagnosis and control of disease and pest, the technology for drying, seeds selection and reserve etc.
