Research on the Key Technologies of Internet2

随着互联网络的迅速发展,网络规模急剧膨胀。为了满足日益增多的新的业务要求,需要对当前的Internet进行改进。Internet2是一项下一代因特网研究计划。文中在介绍了当前Internet存在的问题后,对Internet2所采用的一些关键技术进行分析与比较,从不同层次阐述了Internet2的先进特性,其中着重探讨了Internet2的服务质量保障技术,最后描述了Internet2所需进一步改进之处。研究表明,Internet2能够更好地满足应用需求。

With the development of the Internet, its scale keeps expanding. As the requirements for more new types of application in Internet are rapidly increasing, improvements have to be made to the current Internet. Internet2 is a plan of next generation Internet research. In this paper, the problems of current Internet were introduced firstly. And then the key technologies adopted by Internet2 were analyzed and compared on various layers in order to show the advanced features brought by Internet2. Internet2 QoS technologies were emphasized. Finally, those need to be further improved on Internet2 were described. The results proved that Interent2 will satisfy the demands of various applications better.
