摘要
研究了光纤光栅外腔半导体激光器 ( FBG-ECL)的理论模型 ;根据等效腔模型 ,讨论耦合系数对 FBG-ECL阈值特性的影响 ,指出存在最佳光纤光栅反射率 ,使得激光器不仅功率输出大、而且边模抑制比高 ;利用等效腔长的手段 ,分析了腔长对光子寿命的影响 ,并结合速率方程讨论了 FBG-ECL的高频响应特性 ;
The theory model of fiber Bragg grating external cavity semiconductor lasers(FBG-ECL) is studied. Based on equivalent external cavity approximation model, the influence of coupling coefficient on the threshold gain of FBG-ECL is discussed. Research shows: adopting best peak reflectivity will make FBG-ECL having high output power and high fine sidemode suppression ratio. Utilizing the method of equivalent cavity length,the effect of cavity length to photons life is analyzed. The high frequency response characteristic of FBG-ECL is taken into account combined rate equations. The output spectrum of FBG-ECL in different peak reflectivity are practically measured.
