摘要
围绕C/S结构应用中最为重要的服务器设计问题,详细探讨了网络服务器的大类及其适用的实现方法。特别地,深入分析了并发服务器的3个模型,对其设计思想、原理、算法及优缺点作了较透彻的比较,并指明各自的适用场合。
This paper begins with a brief introduction to client/server computation mode. Focusing on the design strategy of network server, which is the most important part of C/S mode, we profoundly discuss two main types of server, namely iterative and concurrent server. Especially three realization algorithm for concurrent server are proposed here. Furthermore, character and appropriate application circumstance of each design are analyzed and compared in detail. The schemes in this paper are based on UNIX system, but the conclusion and approach can apply to the other main platforms, such as WINDOWS or LINUX.
