详细介绍聚苯乙烯泡沫塑料 (EPS)的工程特性及其在工程中的应用。EPS具有使用寿命长、化学性能稳定、经济效益显著、施工简便等优点 ,是一种性能优良的土工材料 ,已广泛应用于道路、桥梁、建筑、水利等一系列土木工程 ,可以有效地解决软基过度沉降 ,路堤与桥台连接处的差异沉降 ,建筑物的防潮、保温及水利设施的保温防冻、防渗等工程问题。
The engineering characteristics of expanded polystyrene(EPS) and its application in engineering are introduced in detail. EPS is an excellent civil engineering material,which has a lot of good properties,such as long life-span of use,good chemical stability,marked economical benefit and convenient in construction. It is widely used in road,bridage,construction,water conservancy and other civil engineering. It can effectively solve the engineering problems such as over sedimentation of soft groundwork, differential sedimentation at the joint between embankment and bridge abutment, damp prevention and heat preservation for comstruction.
