Historic Spanning on the State of Habitation——New Village Planning for Tibetan Nation In Hongyuan, Sichuan

居住在川西北地区的藏族同胞,世代过着逐水草而居的游牧生活,使得儿童就学困难,老人生病往往因延误治疗而留下后患,因此牧民早有定居的愿望。四川省委省政府顺应民心,即时组织有关部门支援牧区,进行牧民新村建设,首选红原县瓦切乡作试点。新村现已陆续建成,牧民及社会各界反映良好,并已成为九寨旅游环线上的一个新景点。

Tibetan compatriots, who live in the northwest area ofSichuan, rove about for water and pasture generation after generation.It is hard to go to school for children and to get immediate medicaltreatment for the aged patient. Herdsmen have been hoping to settledown for a long time. Complying with the will of the people, provincialParty committee and provincial government of Sichuan organize theconcerned departments to help nomadic area to conduct the construc-tion of new village. Waque Country of Hongyuan County is the firstselection of the experimental unit. New village have been completed insuccession. Nomads and all walks of life in society respond veryfavorably. They become a group of new scenic spots on the Jiuzhaicircular tour route.
