美洲钢公司安装的新多股棒材矫直设备采用了自动操作的辊组更换系统 ,大幅度缩短了换辊时间和生产不同规格时的矫直机设定时间。该系统的设计克服了一系列难题 ,使矫直工艺能够相当灵活地处理诸如角钢、不等边角钢和槽钢等多种产品。而且 ,还缩短了在轧辊车间从辊轴上更换矫直辊的时间。
The multistrand straightening equipment for bars installed at AMERISTEEL in the state of Tennessee, USA incorporates a new, automated system for changing roll cartridges, that can considerably reduces the time required for the replacement of rolls and the setting up of the machine for different bar sizes The design of this system has posed a number of engineering challenges that have been solved to provide a straightening process that is extremely flexible and capable of dealing with such varied products as angles, unequal angles and channels An additional advantage of the design is the reduction in workshop time in replacing rolls on their shafts
