摘要 β-胡萝卜素是广泛存在于自然界中的一种天然类胡萝卜素,它不仅是人体内维生素A的重要来源,而且其本身对人体也具有重要的生理功能。它可以预防某些疾病,同时也能提高机体的免疫力,还具有抗氧化、着色和防癌抗癌等功效。本文对β-胡萝卜素的分布、吸收、代谢、生理功能及临床应用等方面作一综述。 β-carotene is a kind of natural carotenoid and exists widely in nature. It is not only the important source of Vitamin A in body, but also has important physiological effects on human body. It can prevent some diseases, and can increase immunological competence of human body. in addition, it has the functions of anti-oxidizing, colouring, preventing and treating cancer. In this paper, the study of Q-carotene was reviewed including distribution, biochemical characters, absorption, metabolism, physiological function and clinical appliances.
