摘要
本文作者认为卢伯克的小说理论主要由三大部分组成，即主题决定论、图戏交替论和读者完成论。文章对这三方面的理论的基本含义及其相互联系作了探讨。
This paper argues that Percy Lubbock's fictional theory mainly consists of three parts, namely, his exposition of how the subject dictates the method, his views on the alternation between the pictorial manner of treating the matter and the dramatic manner, and his thoughts on the ways in which the novel is completed by the reader. The paper seeks to examine the basic implications of each of these views and their interrelationships.
